How To Draw a Circle in Autocad 2006

There are a few ways to create circle, i`m gonna show you 2 common method to create a circle in Autocad 2006. Every designer has their own trick. A default setting to create a circle is to specify radius and center point. You also can specify mid line and center line or you can draw mid line with 2 point. Other way you can draw a circle with 3 point. You also can create a circle tangent with 2 or 3 existing object and specify a radius.
  • Drawing Circle Using Center Point and Radius Method.
    To draw a circle with center point and radius method follow this steps :

    1. From DRAW menu, CIRCLE and choose CENTER, RADIUS or click circle icon on Draw toolbar.
    2. Specify center point (1)
    3. Specify radius (2)

    • Drawing a Circle Tangent on the Second Object
    1. Create a circle and a line like the pic below:


    2. From DRAW menu, CIRCLE, choose Tan, Tan, Radius then click on the circle object and next on the line object.
    3. Specify radius value, for example 1 then press ENTER. If you want to try a bigger radius value, repeat step 1 & 2 and specify radius value example 2 & 3.
