How to Draw a Circumscribed Hexagon in Autocad 2006

Use Circumscribed Polygon when ever you want to specify the distance between a center of polygon and a midpoint of each sides. This distance is the radius of the circumference of the polygon boundary.

To draw a circumscribed hexagon follow this steps :
1. From DRAW menu, choose POLYGON or click on the polygon icon on draw toolbar.
2. Press 6 to specify six sides of polygon (1).
3. Specify center point of the polygon.
4. Type C ( Circumscribed about circle ).
5. Specify length of radius (2).
After you created a polygon, you can edit it using PEDIT command or change it to single line object using EXPLODE command.

Cheers,
Jaenne.
