How To Hatch a Selected Object in Autocad 2006

To hatch a selected object follow this steps :
1.    From DRAW menu, choose HATCH or click hatch icon on draw toolbar.
2.    In BOUNDARY HATCH and FILL dialog box, choose SELECT OBJECT.
3.    Select object that you want to HATCH.
Objects do not need to establish a certain limit. You can also specify some region / island by choosing a selected object in another object. If you make mistake, use right click and choose clear all or Undo Last Pick/Pick from shortcut menu.

4.    To view hatch result, right click and choose PREVIEW.
5.    Press ENTER to return to Boundary Hatch dialog box.
6.    Click OK to apply the hatch.
